The Best Sweepstakes Sites in America, Tested and Ranked
OVRLND ranks first among the ten operators we scored, at 16 out of 20. No operator took full marks. We graded every site on the same five checks: named third-party administrator, public official rules, documented past winners, prize value stated as ARV, and whether anyone asks a winner for money. Forged 4x4 and One Country tie for last at 9.
This is our September 2026 re-score, and it moved a lot. 80Eighty led the last edition at 20 out of 20 and now sits seventh at 12, because the rules pages you can actually reach on its site serve terms from 2023. UltraCore Systems was last at 6 and now sits sixth at 12, because it published a winners page. Neither change is editorial. Both fall straight out of the rubric below.
How did we rank these sweepstakes sites?
We used our five-check framework, weighted, on a 20-point scale. The weights are published so you can disagree with them and re-rank the field yourself.
Check 1, is a third-party administrator named in the rules? 4 points. An outside firm conducting the drawing means the company selling entries is not the only party attesting to the result. Full marks require the administrator to be named in the rules that govern the promotion you are entering. A name that appears only on a marketing page scores 2.
Check 2, are official rules public and findable before you spend? 2 points. Cheap to satisfy, so it earns little. Rules that do not resolve, or that serve terms for a promotion that ended years ago, score zero.
Check 3, are past winners documented with specificity? 8 points, the heaviest. This is the only check that looks backward at money actually paid out. It splits into four two-point components: (a) a public record exists, (b) winners are identified by name, (c) wins are dated and the prize is named, (d) corroborating media is attached such as a photo or a video.
Within those components: a full first and last name scores 2 on (b), a first name plus last initial scores 1, an unnamed gallery scores 0. Component (c) needs both halves for full marks, so an operator that dates its wins but does not say what was won scores 1, and so does an operator that names the prize but never dates the win. On (d), media attached to all or nearly all displayed winners scores 2, media on some of them scores 1, and none scores 0.
Check 4, is prize value stated as ARV? 2 points. ARV is the number that lands on your Form 1099-MISC. A marketing figure, a ceiling such as "worth up to $200,000," or a cash alternative given in place of a package value is not an ARV. The figure has to appear in the operative rules or terms for that promotion. A figure published on a per-promotion terms page scores 2. A figure that appears only in marketing copy while the rules stay silent scores 1.
Check 5, does anyone ask a winner for money? 2 points. All ten pass. Advance-fee fraud is the brightest line in this category.
Tiebreaker, verifiable operating history, 2 points. Two points for both a multi-year record and a formal accreditation, one for either alone. User-review scores do not count, which is why UltraCore's 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot earns nothing here.
Three ground rules. We score published evidence only: where we could not find or reach a public page, we score it zero and say what would change it, rather than crediting a claim we cannot check. We adjusted no placement for variety and protected nobody's position. And where totals tie, we break the tie on check 3 first, then on the number of winners actually documented, then alphabetically.

Component (c) is worth reading closely. UltraCore Systems is the only operator in this field that publishes the month and year each of its winners won, so it is the only one taking the dating half of that component. Every other operator takes the prize-naming half instead and loses the dating half. Blog post dates, which One Country and Forged 4x4 both carry, tell you when an announcement was published rather than when the drawing happened, so we do not count them as dated wins.
The four-way tie at 15 breaks on winners actually documented: VanLife US 26, Lvl Up 12, Reel Chance 11 documented plus one entry still marked "Winner Pending," and Tiny Homes US 4. The tie at 12 breaks on check 3, where UltraCore's 6 beats 80Eighty's 5. The tie at 9 breaks the same way, Forged 4x4's 5 over One Country's 4.

One navigation warning before the entries. A recurring trap in this category is the generic house-rules page that sits alongside a promotion's own rules and disagrees with them. On vanlife.us, the house-rules page directs free entries to PO Box 699, New York, NY 10013 at 25 entries a day and names no administrator, while the rules for the live promotion direct them to PO Box 230, Macedon, NY 14502-0230 at 10 entries per card. On lvlup.us, the house-rules page gives a Salt Lake City address at 25 entries a day against PO Box 471, Macedon, NY 14502-0471 in the promotion rules. Always mail to the address in the rules for the specific giveaway you are entering, or your free entries go nowhere.
1. OVRLND, 16/20
Overland and off-road apparel, with entries attached to purchases and a VIP subscription at $10 to $50 a month carrying 500 to 10,000 entries. Current: OVRLND #7, a 1985 Toyota SR5 XtraCab plus $10,000 cash, ARV $95,000, closing 17 September 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET with the winner named on or about 23 September.
It scores 16 by passing four checks outright. American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., Inc., 300 State St. Suite 402, Rochester, NY 14614 is named in the rules at ovrlnd.com/pages/toyota-rules, the ARV is in those rules, and the six winners displayed all carry video testimonials, which is the only clean 2 on the media component alongside UltraCore. A handwritten card to PO Box 239, Macedon, NY 14502-0239 is worth 100 entries, the most valuable single mailed entry we found anywhere. No operating history or accreditation is established, which costs both tiebreaker points.
The limitation: the winners page header claims eight winners and displays six, and none of the six carries a date, so you cannot tell how recent that video evidence is. This promotion is also USA only, with no Canada.
2. VanLife US, 15/20
Van-life apparel and gear at $1 = 1 entry, with VIP subscriptions from $15 to $100 a month. Current: "Battle of the VWs," where the winner chooses a restored 1972 VW Bus Camper or a 2025 ID. Buzz 1st Edition, plus $10,000 cash. ARV $76,000, closing 2 October 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, winner on or about 8 October. Free entry is 10 per card to PO Box 230, Macedon, NY 14502-0230.
It takes 15 on a named administrator in the rules at vanlife.us/pages/classic-vs-electric-rules, a stated ARV, and the deepest winners list in this band at 26 entries, 11 of them major winners with photos and one with video. Those 26 are first name, last initial and state with no dates, which is why check 3 lands at 5 and not higher. The last grand prize went to "Ben S. from Colorado" for a "Dream Build."
The limitation: the site contradicts itself on the current promotion. The homepage frames it as two prizes and two winners while the rules describe one Grand Prize, and the homepage says 11:59 PM PST where the rules say ET. The giveaways page also labels the prior round a "$150K Dream Van Build" against an ARV of $170,000 in its rules.
3. Lvl Up, 15/20
Gaming merch and hardware, with entries from purchases, one-time packs, or VIP subscriptions at $5 to $50 a month. Current: "Riptide," a water-cooled build with a Gigabyte RTX 5090, a Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 64GB of DDR5, ARV $13,000, closing 17 September 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, winner on or about 23 September. Charity tie is Extra Life and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Free entry is 10 per envelope to PO Box 471, Macedon, NY 14502-0471.
Same four passes as the rest of this band, and 5 on winners: 12 entries, five of them major winners with four photos and one video, first name and last initial only, no dates. At $13,000 this is the smallest prize in the field, which cuts in the entrant's favor, since the tax event on a win is survivable in a way a $180,000 one is not.
The limitation: the published numbers do not line up. The winners page lists the last build as a "$13K Jujutsu Setup" while the rules for that promotion stated an ARV of $12,500, and the homepage gives a 24 September winner date where the rules say 23 September.
4. Reel Chance, 15/20
Fishing and ocean themed, with entry purchases and four VIP tiers from $15 to $100 a month, plus 5 to 50 ocean plastic bottles removed per tier. Current: ReelChance #3, "LTB 25," a 2025 Latitude Tournament Boats LTB 25 center console with a 300 HP Mercury V8 Verado, or $100,000 cash, ARV $200,000, closing 19 November 2026 with the winner on or about 25 November. Free entry is 10 per card to PO Box 398, Macedon, NY 14502-0398.
Administrator named in the rules at reelchance.us/pages/2025-ltb-25-rules, ARV stated there, and 12 winners listed with two videos and two photos among the four major winners. First name, last initial and state, no dates, so check 3 stops at 5.
The limitation: the record is thinner than the count suggests. One of those 12 entries is a placeholder reading "Winner Pending" for the Skeeter SX241 promotion that closed on 3 September 2026, with the announcement stated for 10 September. Until that posts, 11 wins are documented, and none of the 12 is dated.
5. Tiny Homes US, 15/20
Merch from $20 to $200 carries entries, with VIP tiers from $15 to $100 a month. Current: TH#2 Dream Tiny Home plus Land, a $130,000 build credit with Tru Form Tiny plus $50,000 cash, ARV $180,000, closing 17 September 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET, winner on or about 23 September. Free entry is 10 per card to PO Box 414, Macedon, NY 14502-0414. The $50,000 is cash rather than credit under the rules, which is a real cushion against tax, though still only 28 percent of a $180,000 taxable event.
It scores 15 on the same four passes, with check 3 at 5 from a four-winner page: three getaway winners with photos, first name, last initial and state, no dates.
The limitation: the one winner who matters most has the least evidence. The grand-prize entry, "Jackie B., Oklahoma, Dream Tiny Home valued at $200K + $50K cash," carries no photo and no video at all, and that $200K label does not match the ARV in the rules for any current round. The rules also misspell the build partner as "Tru From Tiny Homes."
6. UltraCore Systems, 12/20
A custom gaming PC builder running purchase-entry promotions it calls Builds. The entry ladder is $9.99 for 10,000 entries, $19.99 for 35,000, $49.99 for 50,000 and $99.99 for 250,000, capped at 10,000,000 per entrant. Build #10, "THE ARCADE," carried an exact ARV of $4,948.00 and closed on 6 September 2026. No winner has been published and there is no Build #11, yet the homepage and /pages/free-entry still display Build #10 as the live promotion. It is running dark between builds.
It rises from last place to sixth for one reason: ultracoresystems.com/pages/past-winners now exists, linked in the main nav, with nine winners at first name, last initial, state and month and year. Eight carry a photo and five of those also carry video. That is 6 of 8 on the heaviest check, and it is the only operator in this field crediting the dating component. Its ARV is exact and sits on the rules page. It still names no administrator, which costs all 4 points on check 1, and it was incorporated on 12 August 2025 with a BBB file that is not accredited and Not Rated, which costs both tiebreaker points.
The limitation: free entry online is worth 1 entry against 10,000 for a $9.99 digital poster, a 10,000 to 1 gap, and the rules confirm a free mail-in route without publishing what it is worth. Equal odds are the legal core of a free entry method, so that unpublished mail-in value is the single thing we would want clarified before spending here. Also nine winners across eleven months, with no build number attached to any of them and no July or August 2026 winner.
7. 80Eighty, 12/20
Merchandise purchases carrying entry multipliers, run by 80Eighty, LLC of Riverton, Utah. DCG #91, a Skyline R34 plus $60,000 at a stated total value of $257,000, closed on 13 September 2026 at 11:59 PM MST. DCG #92, an Audi R8 GT plus $60,000 at a stated $295,000, is live until 25 October 2026. Both figures come from 80eighty.com/pages/current-dream-car-giveaway. No winner announcement date is published for either.
It still owns the best winners record in the category and it still falls to seventh. The record is real: giveaways #1 through #92 are listed, 90 of them with a winner named in full first and last name, most recently Daniel Mann of St Cloud, FL and before him Sean McCutcheon of Brandon, FL. That is the only 2 anyone earns on the naming component. It also takes both tiebreaker points, in business since 20 December 2014 and BBB A+ accredited since 29 July 2020, and it now claims over $15,500,000 given away.
What it lost is paperwork. /pages/rules serves DCG #63 terms from 2023, with a maximum value of $299,000 and an end date of 03/12/23, and /pages/official-rules does not resolve, so check 2 scores zero. The ARV for the promotion you can enter today appears only on a marketing page, so check 4 scores 1 of 2. The current-giveaway page says "American sweepstakes" handles winner selection, but the Rochester, New York address is gone from live pages, so check 1 drops from 4 to 2. We also could not confirm a photo or video attached to the winners index, so the media component scores zero. Restore a working rules page carrying the current ARV and administrator address and this score moves back up quickly.
The limitation: you cannot read the terms that govern the giveaway you are entering. The reachable rules describe a promotion that ended in March 2023, and the free mail-in route, a 3x5 card to PO Box 18, Riverton, UT 84065 at 50 entries, is not confirmable on any reachable live page today.
8. Alltroo, 10/20
A charity fundraising platform running prize Rallies. Donations convert at $1 = 10 entries scaling to $1,000 = 20,000, with subscriptions at $15, $25 and $50 a month. Still open: the Miranda Lambert and MuttNation rally, a 2026 Airstream Bambi 20FB plus a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn plus $25,000 cash toward tax for US winners, closing 18 September 2026 at 11:59 PM PT with the drawing around 12 October. Free online submission is worth 2,500 entries, which beats its own $50 monthly tier and is the most generous free entry in this field.
Its ARV check now passes, which is a change from our last edition. The framework page at alltroo.com/official-rules/ carries no figures, but the per-rally pages do: maximum ERV $128,075, or $153,075 for US residents including the tax payment. The $95,000 figure circulating for this rally is the cash alternative, not the package value. It is self-administered, so check 1 scores zero, and we found no BBB profile, so the tiebreaker scores zero.
The limitation: the winners page looks abandoned. Nothing has been added since 2025, its metadata is dated 9 December 2025, and the four most recent entries give a first name, last initial and hometown with no dates and no attached media. For a platform running this many concurrent rallies, that is the gap to close.
9. Forged 4x4, 9/20
Sells 4x4 gear, knives, first aid kits and camping equipment, run by Luluvie Inc. DBA Forged4x4 of San Diego. Current: "THOR," a 2026 widebody Toyota Tundra with Weld portal axles and King shocks, plus a 2025 Can-Am Maverick XRS Turbo, plus a towing trailer, plus $50,000 cash, closing 25 October 2026. No winner announcement date is published.
Its winners record is better than its rank. The blog at forged4x4.com/blogs/winners carries video thumbnails, and the April 2026 "Hermes" winner, Chelsea Ogden, is named in full, the only full name outside 80Eighty. That is 5 of 8 on check 3. Everything else works against it: it is self-administered, and the entry ratio commonly quoted as $1 = 4 entries is not confirmable on live HTML because it sits inside a linked PDF.
The limitation: there is no ARV anywhere you can read. The roughly $200,000 attached to THOR is a marketing figure on /pages/prize-package, and /pages/terms defers the prize description itself to a downloadable PDF. On top of that, the most recent winner post, the 13 August 2026 "Nirvanna" Mercedes Sprinter conversion, names no winner at all, so the record is improving and regressing at the same time.
10. One Country, 9/20
A country-music digital publisher, founded in 2012, with membership and merch attached. A $15 monthly membership grants automatic entries, capped at 6,000 entries per person per giveaway per month, and a printed mail-in form is worth 300 entries with a limit of 20 per month, which is exactly that cap. Live now: a 2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary or $48,750 cash with Koe Wetzel, alongside trip giveaways tied to Kacey Musgraves, Tucker Wetmore, Cameron Whitcomb, Caylee Hammack and the 60th CMA Awards.
It has a genuine winners record, published as blog posts with a first name, last initial and city and the prize named: Melody S. of Missoula, Montana took an Alan Jackson Nashville trip, Matthew P. of Nashville took a Ford F-250 Platinum or $63,750. That is 4 of 8, since the post dates are publication dates rather than win dates and no corroborating media is confirmable. Founded in 2012 earns one tiebreaker point; its BBB profile now 404s, so the A rating and complaint count we cited previously are no longer verifiable and we are not repeating them. Trustpilot sits at 3.8 out of 5.
Two matters of record belong here. The Michigan Gaming Control Board issued a cease-and-desist to One Country in August 2024 over unlicensed online lottery and raffle activity. We found no 2026 action, and the current Michigan exclusion brings the operator into line with that order. Louisiana is also excluded, Quebec is void, and prizes over $5,000 are excluded in New York and Florida.
The limitation: you cannot tell what you are entering or when it ends. Neither the homepage, /collections/win, nor onecountry.com/pages/official-giveaway-rules publishes an ARV or a close date for any current promotion, and that general rules page is a framework document with no figures in it. The one recent promotion with a documented value, the 2026 GMC Yukon XL Denali that closed 31 August 2026, had an ARV of roughly $85,000, where the widely quoted $67,500 was the cash alternative paid in monthly installments. Its winner is due on or about 15 September 2026 and has not posted yet.
The short version
OVRLND leads at 16 out of 20 on a named administrator, an ARV in the rules, video on all six displayed winners, and a mailed free entry worth 100 entries. It loses both tiebreaker points because no operating history is established.
Nobody scored 20. Four operators tie at 15, and the tie breaks on documented winners: VanLife US 26, Lvl Up 12, Reel Chance 11 plus one pending, Tiny Homes US 4.
80Eighty fell from 20 to 12 and seventh. It keeps the best winners record in the category, 90 full names, and both history points, but /pages/rules serves 2023 terms, /pages/official-rules does not resolve, and the current ARV lives on a marketing page. A working rules page would move it back up fast.
UltraCore Systems rose from 6 to 12 and sixth, on a new winners page with nine entries, photos on eight and video on five. It is the only operator here that dates its wins. It still names no administrator and was incorporated in August 2025.
Five of ten name a third-party administrator in the rules that govern the live promotion: OVRLND, VanLife US, Lvl Up, Reel Chance and Tiny Homes US. 80Eighty names one on a marketing page only and takes half marks. Alltroo, Forged 4x4 and One Country run their own drawings, and UltraCore Systems names nobody.
ARV is where the bottom of the table loses points. Forged 4x4 publishes a $200,000 marketing figure and defers the prize description to a PDF, and One Country publishes neither an ARV nor an end date for anything currently live.
Nobody on this list should ever ask you for money after you win. If that happens, it is fraud, not a fee.
